The post today included (well, okay, entirely consisted of) something that made me jump up and down with excitement. Courtesy of George at Orbit, a proof copy of Charles Stross's Halting State, the much anticipated (by me anyway) second person POV book. Coool.
So that's what I'm doing this weekend then.

Ooh. Now, that I'm jealous of.

A second person pov? Oh dear. I just don't know if I could cope - 'you did this, you did that' - the trouble is that I know I bloody well didn't. Could it actually work?
Speaking of Charles Stross. I'm looking forward to reading The Atrocity Archives - the advert really sold me on it - and it's short. I couldn't ask for more.

I read half a chapter over lunch, the second person POV is acually not as weird as it sounds.
Must do my The Atrocity Archives write up tonight...

I got a copy this morning! Sweet. I think I can justify a time-out from Clarke reading ...

Cool.
You going to tell us that being a Clarke judge is hard work now aren't you? ;-)
