ILM wins National Medal of Technology

White House to honor ILM

"Award, administered by the Dept. of Commerce and given annually by the president, is the country's highest honor for innovation."

Sounds like an award given to big companies who make loads of money! Other winners include Motorola. Hmm, the department of commerce. Doesn't quite match being given an award in The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (yeah that's the real name).
