Christopher Ryan gets a part in Doctor Who

The BBC have announced that Christopher Ryan has a part in the new series of Doctor Who.
If you don't like knowing which monsters will appear in the new series, close your eyes...

...he 'll play a Sontaran leader. The Sontarans are those ridiculous looking aliens that are apparently "amongst the greatest villains from the classic series of Doctor Who."

Yeah, yeah, we all know it's just a diversionary tactic to put us off the Davros scent.

Agreed. I think its pretty unlikely they would actually use the Sontarans considering their distinctive look and feel was only recently recycled for the Juddoon. I also find it improbable they would cast such a diminutive actor in the role - Christopher Ryan as davros sounds more convincing.

I know the rumours, but do you honestly believe an actor of Ben Kingsley's reputation and stature would appear in a series like Doctor Who.

Its only a guess but I think Christopher Ryan as a Sontaran is a piece of deliberate misinformation.
