BSG Not A Geeky Little Show

Do people write stuff like this, The Right Time to Become a BSG Fan, just to provoke a reaction?

"When I first heard rumblings about a reimagined version of Battlestar Galactica on the Sci Fi Channel, I instantly dismissed it as not for me. I can stomach science fiction, but I'm not into "those" kinds of shows. I assumed it was another Star Trek rip-off or one of the endless stream of Stargate or Farscape clones. But I'm a serious TV watcher, and I enjoy genuine quality, not some geeky little show about robots and spaceships."

Troll?

Nah... just horribly behind the times.

The time to write that kind of piece was at the end of series 1 when the much mocked "re-imagining" of a terrible piece of 70's TV actually proved itself to be intelligent and challenging.

This is just weak band-wagon jumping. It's like a born again Christian trying hard to be holier than everyone else because they're late to the party.

Yes, end of season 3 is a bit late to tell people to start watching it.

I still get annoyed by that kind of tone though. I know I shouldn't but I can't help it!
