Nova Swing wins the Arthur C Clarke Award

I saw it first on Velcro City Tourist Board, M. John Harrison’s Nova Swing has won the Arthur C Clarke Award.

Good result. I loved Light and Nova Swing is next on my books to read pile, in fact it is sitting on my shelf waiting for me. An SF book with literary cred, the perfect Clarke winner.

I really enjoyed Nova Swing - read it back to back with a proof of Hal Duncan's Ink, so you can imagine how quantum-fried my cognitive processes were by the end of that (but in a good way). Now all eyes turn to the Eagle Awards next weekend.

Nice. Still haven't read Vellum or Ink. Too much to read...!
