The FT previews SF courtesy of James Lovegrove

Wow, via Lou Anders, the FT talks SF. Or more accurately, James Lovegrove has an article entitled They walk among us which summarises several state of the art SF novels, including one out now and three upcoming:

  • AIR by Geoff Ryman (Gollancz)
  • THE EXECUTION CHANNEL by Ken MacLeod (Orbit)
  • BLACK MAN by Richard Morgan (Gollancz)
  • BRASYL by Ian McDonald (Gollancz)
All of them sound fantastic. Added to my wishlist...

well, I can tell you that Air by Geoff Ryman is a fantastic book! Black Man's been on my amazon list since I first heard about it, too.
