Avatar (from a leak so things could change)

takes place in the future and focuses on the distant planet of Pandora, which has become a rich source of mineral mining for humanity. To help interact with the locals, known as the Na'vi, we've created avatars. They're a blend of human and Na'vi DNA that can be linked to a human mind (think The Matrix). But when one of the newest recruits arrives on the planet, he finds it on the brink of a massive war…

And Battle Angel

set in the 26th century, the story takes place 300 years after a societal collapse caused by a major war. In that society, it's a technological dark age following a pinnacle of achievement far beyond where we are right now. People are augmented a lot as workers, so being a cyborg is not unusual. Alita is a cyborg. She has an organic human brain. She has a completely artificial body and she's lost her memory.
